Calculate ΔU_m for the isothermal expansion of nitrogen gas

from an initial volume of 1.00 dm3 to 20.00 dm3 at 298 K.

What are the values of q and w?

 

(b) Repeat Exercise (a) for argon,

from an initial volume of 1.00 dm3 to 30.00 dm3 at 298 K.
