How many molecules of carbon dioxide will be formed

if 2.21 g of propane is burned in the following reaction?

C3H8(g) + 5O2(g) → 3CO2(g) + 4H2O(g)

C3H8의 몰질량 = 3(12) + 8(1) = 44 g/mol

2.21 g / (44 g/mol) = 0.05023 mol C3H8

 

 

 

C3H8 : CO2 = 1 : 3 = 0.05023 mol : ? mol

? = 3 × 0.05023 = 0.1507 mol CO2

 

 

 

0.1507 mol × (6.022×10^23 개/mol)

= 9.08×10^22 개 CO2 분자
