▶ 핵산을 가수분해하면,

⇨ 뉴클레오티드 (nucleotide), 뉴클레오타이드

 

 

▶ 뉴클레오티드를 가수분해하면,

⇨ 뉴클레오시드 (nucleoside) + 인산 (phosphoric acid)

 

 

▶ 뉴클레오시드를 가수분해하면,

⇨ 당 (sugar) + 헤테로고리 염기 (heterocyclic base)

 

 

 

∴ 핵산의 기본 단위: 뉴클레오티드

뉴클레오티드 = 인산염 + 오탄당 + 헤테로고리 염기

▶ 폴리뉴클레오타이드 = 핵산?

> Polynucleotides and nucleic acids are not the same.

> Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides,

which are the basic building blocks of nucleic acids.

> Nucleic acids are biopolymers made up of polynucleotides

and include DNA and RNA.

A nucleotide is an organic compound made up of three subunits:

a nitrogenous base, a five-carbon sugar, and a phosphate group.

The sugar component may either be ribose or deoxyribose.

Ribose is the sugar component of the nucleotides that make up RNA.

The deoxyribose sugar is the sugar component of DNA.

 

Each phosphate group connects
