HDPE. High Density Polyethylene

LDPE. Low Density Polyethylene

중합체의 결정화도를 향상시킬 수 있다.

▶ Effect of branching on density

 

> A very linear PE chain can closely approach other PE chains of similar structure,

creating a very densely packed network.

This results in a high-density material that is relatively strong and stiff.

 

> HDPE: It has a linear structure.

Therefore, it can be compressed, and it is less flexible and stronger.

 

> LDPE: It has lots of branches.
