1) solid wedge is used to indicate a bond

projecting out of the plane of paper, towards the observer.

 

실선 쐐기는 화면(종이) 평면에서

앞쪽(관찰자 방향)으로 튀어나온 원자(또는 결합)를 나타내는데 사용.

 

 

 

2) dashed wedge is used to indicate a bond

lying above the plane of paper

(projecting out of the plane of the paper)

and away from the observer.

 

점선 쐐기는 화면(종이) 평면에서

뒤쪽(관찰차 반대방향)으로 들어간 원자를 나타내는데 사용.

 

 

 

3) bond lying in the plane of the paper

is represented by a normal line.

 

화면(종이) 평면에 위치한 원자는 선으로 표현.
