if the vapor pressure of water was 2.85 atm?

The enthalpy of vaporization of water is 40.7 kJ/mol.

Clausius-Clapeyron 식

ln(P1 / P2) = ΔH_vap/R (1/T2 – 1/T1)

ln(1 / 2.85) = (40700 / 8.314) (1/T2 – 1/373)

 

1/T2 – 1/373 = ln(1 / 2.85) / (40700 / 8.314)

 

1/T2 = ln(1 / 2.85) / (40700 / 8.314) + 1/373

 

T2 = 1 / [ln(1 / 2.85) / (40700 / 8.314) + 1/373]

= 405.35 K

 

 

 

답: 405 K

( 405 – 273 = 132℃ )
