solubility of glycerol in oil
글리세롤에 용해되는 기름의 양은 0.1% 미만. 거의 섞이지 않는다.

Oleic acid is surely one of the most present components in triglycerides of vegetable oils (e.g. palm oil). Here, we have first experimentally investigated the solubility of oleic acid inside pure glycerol phase, at room temperature; the result obtained is a solubility of 0.06~0.07%.
Stearic acid is soluble inside the pure glycerol phase for a percentage of 0.007~0.010%. This was reasonably and qualitatively predictable because of the absence of hydrophilic double bond group that increases in the oleic acid its affinity to glycerol.

Glycerol and water is an ideal example of homogeneous mixture.
That means their is no saturation limit.
Glycerol and water are miscible.
No upper limit to solubility.
